Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean by Justin Somper
Connor and Grace are the emerald-eyed twins of Crescent Moon Bay. Their father has just recently died and they have run away. They stole the boat owned by the banker of their town and are lost at sea. After sailing for countless hours, a huge wave hits the boat sending Connor in the direction of one normal powerful pirate boat and sending Grace to the ship full of vampirates. What will happen to Connor and Grace? Will they ever see each other again? Just read and see! Sixth grade and up would like this book. It is told in the third person point of view, by both the twins and the rest of the crew. If you love pirates, vampires, and adventure, you will love this! Oh, and did I mention some romance creeps in as well?
