Tenth Grade Bleeds by Heather Brewer
This is about Vladimir, or Vlad for short. He is a teen, but there is one problem, he is a vampire. He’s trying to live a normal high schooler’s life, but with D’Ablo on his tail, to get Vlad’s powers—sorry, just read the book! I would recommend this book if you like vampires. It is a very fun book, but it is part of a series.

Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell
There is a girl called Nikki who has a crush on this boy. There is also a Halloween dance coming in three weeks, but also a mean girl, who tries to ruin people’s lives. Mackenzie Hollister is a bully. But she is already planning, buying her lip-gloss, for when the boy asks her out. So Nikki, Mackenzie, and Nikki’s crush are having some problems. I would recommend this book because it’s funny. It’s a good book, entertaining. Only for “dorks” who have diaries!

Ghost Dog Secrets by Peg Kehret
In the cold winter snow, a dog lays there, locked up. One boy named Rusty changes that. Rusty and his best friend Andrew rescue the dog and keep him. The owner, “Mean Man Myers,” tries to buy the dog back so he can be mean to the dog. What’s the dog’s name, you might ask? “Ra” is the dog’s name. The name stands for Andrew’s and Rusty’s initials. I recommend this book for sixth and seventh grade because many people like this kind of book. I hope readers will enjoy Ghost Dog Secrets as much as I did!

Storyteller by Patricia Reilly-Giff
It’s about a girl and she is forced to spend months at an aunt’s house. Her name is Elizabeth and she feels a connection to an ancestor named Zee, who’s picture hangs on the wall, and who reveals her story of hardships during the Revolutionary War. At the same time, Elizabeth comes to terms with her own troubles. I would recommend this book because it can help you with your own troubles. It can also teach you to have connections with a person whether they’re dead or alive.

Stopping To Home by Lea Wait
This is a nice story about Abbie and her brother Seth. They are orphans living with widow Chase. Their mom died recently and their dad is working on a ship. This book will have the reader thinking every chapter. It has a lot of ups and downs, but it’s a good book. I recommend it to readers that like an exciting book. I hope many people read and enjoy this book.

Boys Without Names by Kashmira Sheth
Boys Without Names is an amazing story for Gopal. His family, Baba, Aai, Naren, and Sita are in debt. They go to his Uncle Jama’s house, but Gopal gets tricked by a person. Gopal then has to work for a boss and be with five other kids that also got tricked. This book is adventurous. I believe that Gopal had to find a way out. The book ahas adventure, but some depressing details. I recommend this novel to 6th and 7th grade. This book has a lot about the Indian culture. That is part of the 6th grade standards.

Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko
On a jail’s island come the Flannigans: Moose, Natalie, and their parents. Ntalie is an unusual 16 year-old. She has autism, which comes up a lot in the story. Moose wants to fit in, until Piper Williams comes. She is the antagonist in the story. Piper has a lot of schemes in the story, and that is what I really like the most. The one main thing that is the best part is convicts like Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly. They have some things that Piper uses in the story. I recommend this book to 6th and 7th graders because I think it is good for their level. It has a lot of adventure, so I think they would be interested in this book.

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
Just like Max told me, I will tell you. Ax is a girl who, okay, has wings. Her five friends live with her. But, when one of them gets kidnapped, Max has to save the day. She leaves two friends at home, but they blow up the house. Max got shot in the wing and went to a girl named Ella’s house. Max recovered, they found Angel, and guess what, I am not finished yet! They go to the Big Apple to learn about their past. Max kills her brother, who is an Eraser (not part of the flock), and Jeb says Max has to save the world. Then the book ends when the flock go out to find their folks. To learn more, you have to read the rest of the series. And that ends my report (sponsored by Toyota). I would recommend this book to anyone because it is awesome! My cousin told me about it and I loved it. He told me and I liked it, and hopefully you will like it, too.

Each Little Bird that Sings by Deborah Wiles
This book is about a girl named Comfort Snowberger. She is quite an explorer, a recipe tester, and a funeral reporter. Writing about dead people is a strange thing for a young girl, but Comfort grew up in a funeral home, so she’s used to death. At least she thinks she is, until her great aunty dies and then everything comes crashing down for Comfort. Her best friend she thought she could always trust turns on her. All Comfort wants to do is sit in a closet and hide. I would recommend this book to people who really like stories with meaning. It can be really difficult to shine at times.

Zorgamazoo by Robert Paul Weston
The Zorgles are missing from Zorgamazoo and Morty was chosen to find them. When Morty starts his journey, he meets a girl named Katrina Katrill, who ran away from her mean auntie who was trying to operate on her brain. Morty decides to take Katrina to help him on his quest. Together, they find Zorgamazoo when. . . Sorry, I can’t tell. You will just have to read the book! I would recommend this book to another student because it is a really good book. It is really easy to read this book. It’s full of rhymes and silly looking words which make it really fun to read.

It turns out her beloved uncle was murdered! What’s worse, now they’re after her! Not to mention they have powers! The only chance she’s got is to team up with Skulduggery Pleasant, a walking skeleton, and save the world.
